Message from Dog Man - August 18, 2008
Hi Everyone,
Just a note and a few big thank yous....
This past Saturday thanks to John and Lynn Hall, we did adoptions in front of the new Sundance Deli location. Thanks to Marci Parra and the NET's very own Kat Hammontre', three adorable puppies found new loving homes, with one winding up in the loving hands of Kat herself (that makes 8 for her), and I'm told the Bimbo truck delievery man left town with a new puppy sitting alongside his buns....thanks also to Mark Dille who has lots of experience when it comes to adopting puppies.... (editors note: This is Muffin).

Thanks also to the following people who worked at the Saturday clinic where we did a grand total of 55 spays & neuters on local dogs and cats. Except for one gringo, everyone who brought in their pets were locals. How 'bout that? To date, since ZAPP started picking up the spay/neuter tab, we have "fixed" 605 dogs and cats, chickens and monkeys....
Thanks to the the team of Dennis & Judy Bishop, the diamond studded Marina Luz Shelton, the fantastic clippers of Ms. Caroleanne Burns, the recently mauled Doug Swift (he assures me he got a tetanus shot and will be just fine), UK royalty Dame Carole Kingaby and Dame Jean Burnham---the ever constant and reliable June Martin, and last but certainly not least, we had a new volunteer, who although young, is very commited to the care and humane treatment of animals, Alec Sheridan. Thanks to you all!
Sincerely,
Steven Forman,
ZAPP
