RENOVATION TO THE SAN FELIPE INTERNATIONAL AIPORT

San Felipe International Airport is 9.2 km. southeast of town at co-ordinates 30° 56' north latitude; 114° 48' west longitude at an elevation of 42 meters. The runway is 1,500 meters long by 31 meters wide with an orientation of 13-31. The control tower is on frequency 118.5 MHz. Business hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. They carry 100/30 AV gas and Jet-A. The telephone number for the airport is (from the US) 011-52-686-577-1368 or from town, simply dial 577-1368. Also, the telephone number for the Tourist Department is 577-1155. As you can see, the airport is in dire need of repaving and you can see the lights down the strip

The airport has a donated fire truck and ambulance. They could use more fire house equipment. The runway will be wonderful when it's done.
